The Presbytery Gardens : A delightful succession of gardens, they are bordering a 14th century fortified presbytery, the church and castle of the ancient Lord's Manor, and finally open up on the amazing landscape of the Douve marsh:
Monastery garden, Marie's garden, vineyard (which is used nowadays again for Cotentin wine), kitchen garden, priest's garden, and numerous varieties of hydrangeas, rhododendrons, camellias and roses, all along the walk...
An amazing garden in even more amazing surroundings, the historical site of an ancient Roman road, that leads to a peaceful marsh, a former inlet that used to separate the Cotentin from the rest of the peninsula - all this in a bocage countryside and less than 30 car minutes from a variety of seascapes, from large sand beaches to dramatical cliffs.
