The Butterfly and Insect Garden : Aoubré has been well-known for 25 years for its tree climbing garden, but it's also a 30 hectare parc where people can discover nature, with animals, a small farm, pedagogical paths, nets, paths of the senses.
Around the theme ”Environment and Biodiversity”, Aoubré has opened a garden that is exceptional in Europe, the ”Butterfly and Insect Garden” of 7000 m2 (it is not a greenhouse).
This garden has obtained the Prize for Touristic Innovation of the General Council of the Var department in 2009. Its visit allows the observation of butterflies and insects of Provence. Insects and butterflies can be observed at different stages of their development in terrariums.
The parc has been labeled ”Biodiversity Info Point”.

The Butterfly and Insect Garden is open all year round: weekends, Wednesdays from April to September, public holidays and school holidays. But to see the maximum number of butterflies and insects, come between May and July (depending on the weather).
Aoubré is also open all year round (on the same dates) for the treetop adventure courses and the nature discovery park.

Depending on the season, there are 2 to 3 guided tours per day with experienced and passionate animators
