Discover the “Portraits of Seeds” exhibition: symbols of life, growth, diversity and culture, seeds tell the great history of men. Captured using a macroscopic stereo magnifying glass, the seeds photographed by Thierry Ardouin , mainly from the collections of the National Museum of Natural History, disturb our subjectivity as spectators. Whether wild or cultivated, they fascinate with their formal beauty, prompting deep reflection on our origins and our intimate link with plant biodiversity.
An exhibition inspired by the book “Seed Stories, Photographs by Thierry Ardouin” (Atelier EXB, 2022), on an original idea initiated by Xavier Barral.
