Situated at the foot of the Saverne pass, the Rose Garden of Saverne of international renown, contributes to the reputation of Saverne as the City of Roses. Created in 1898, the Société Alsacienne et Lorraine des Amis des Roses owns a collection of about 5500 roses, divided into 800 varieties.
Entering the garden, opened in 1900, you will discover its harmonious beds of ancient roses, of perfumed roses, in every form: bushes, ground covers, shrubs, tea hybrids... and the latest novelties.
An international competition for new roses is held there every year. Created in : 1898

    From mid-May to the end of August from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. weekdays, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday.
