The Garden Of the Logis de La Chabotterie : The enclosed garden is bounded by two walls. A moat called an « Ahah » forms an artificial barrier without obstructing the view.
The historical garden has been restored thanks to old drawings and is now structured as we would have expected to find it in the late XVIIth an XVIIIth centuries.
The pleasure garden has a geometrical form with flower beds, box and yew borders. Beige, pink and ochre coloured gravels and blue strips of slate embellish the environment.
The vegetable garden is divided into squares with vegetables, herbs and medicinal plants. There is an interesting variety of vegetables and some of them have a spectacular shape or blossom (artichokes, cabbages...). Created in : 1993
Surface : 40 hectares
