Domain of Chaumont-sur-Loire and the International Garden Festival : Aquired by the Centre-Val de Loire Region in 2007, The Domain has become an unmissable site within the spheres of art and gardens. Since 1992, the garden festival presents an astonishing lookout over the recent state of gardening creativity around the world.
In 24 seasons almost 400 gardens have been created, prototypes of tomorrow's gardens. The festival is a goldmine of ideas and a talent show as well, giving thus new impacts to the art of gardening. Presenting new flowerings, new materials, new ideas and know-how, it is of interest to the general public and to the professional. Its diversity, creativity and the quality of the projects have contributed to the festival's worldwide renown; today it is an occasion not to be missed for the presentation of works of a new generation of landscape architects, architects, stage designers, gardeners....
