Castle of Chamerolles : The Renaissance garden, which was created by Lancelot II du Lac at the end of the 16th century has refound its original charm and character.
Being a home, pleasure and ceremonial garden, its consists of six parts : the ”Préau” with its lawns and period furniture; the embroidery square with its clipped lavender ans boxwood; the suare of rares plants which reunites plants at the time were discovered in the Orient ans the Americas : the ” Labyrinth of yew trees; and two vegetable gardens.
The garden was complety restored between 1988 and 1992.

Exceptionally, following (Covid-19) to the latest government announcements, the gardens will be closed from April 6. The castle also remains closed until further notice. We thank you for your understanding.
From 1/03 to 30/04 and 01/10 to 31/12 : 1.30 pm to 5.30 pm.
Closed on Tuesdays. Open on weekends from 10am. to 12h and from 1.30 pm to 5.30pm.
From May 1st to June 30th and from September 1st to 30th from 10am to 6pm. Closed on Tuesdays.
From 1/07 to 31/08 and from 1/09 to 30/09 : 10 am to 6 pm.
Annual closure in January and December 25.
