Castle of Chamerolles : The Renaissance garden, which was created by Lancelot II du Lac at the end of the 16th century has refound its original charm and character.
Being a home, pleasure and ceremonial garden, its consists of six parts : the ”Préau” with its lawns and period furniture; the embroidery square with its clipped lavender ans boxwood; the suare of rares plants which reunites plants at the time were discovered in the Orient ans the Americas : the ” Labyrinth of yew trees; and two vegetable gardens.
The garden was complety restored between 1988 and 1992.
