The Arcades Hotel-Restaurant in Roscoff, in Brittany, has been built on the rocks, facing the open sea and the island of Batz, right on the very spot where Mary Stuart debarked from Scotland to get married to the future king of France, François II.
The hotel has kept its remarkable arcades from this time (16th century). Situated near Mary Stuart's House, the church Notre Dame de Croas Batz, the exotic garden, the old town, the ferries' depart and the departing point for the island of Batz and boat tours in Morlaix bay, it has the family holiday atmosphere and also provides lunch stops for groups.
