The Sully Castle's Park and Kitchen Garden

This is the green shrine of the wonderful renaissance castle of Sully. The vast English park has been planted after the revolution and its trees are now over 200 years old. The remarkable kitchen garden stretches over almost one hectare in front of the orangerie. Achille Duchêne has designed it around 1890 on the grounds of a Louis XIV garden. The Duchess of Magenta, who was originally from Scotland, set up the original alignment of vegetables, flowers, mixing them with shrubs and old fruit trees.
During the promenade you will also find a dovecote, fish pond, washhouse, ice house, medieval chapel, water mirror, canal and moats.

  From April 3 th through November 14 th, from 10 am to 6 pm (7 pm in July and August): park and garden tour without guide.
  Guided tours of the castle's rooms :
  The castle tours are guided : First tour: 10,30 am, then 11,30 am. 1,30 pm., 2,30 pm. 3,30 pm., 4,30 pm.
  Last tour start at 4,30 pm (5,30 pm. in July and August).

  Unguided visits.
  Guided visits with previous booking, Duration of a guided visit : 1h00, Minimal number of persons for a guided visit : 20.
  Access adapted for disabled persons.
