Since 1992, the garden festival presents an astonishing lookout over the recent state of gardening creativity around the world.
In 18 seasons almost 400 gardens have been created, prototypes of tomorrow's gardens. The festival is a goldmine of ideas and a talent show as well, giving thus new impacts to the art of gardening. Presenting new flowerings, new materials, new ideas and know-how, it is of interest to the general public and to the professional. Its diversity, creativity and the quality of the projects have contributed to the festival's worldwide renown; today it is an occasion not to be missed for the presentation of works of a new generation of landscape architects, architects, stage designers, gardeners....

Festival International des Jardins Pour sa 21e édition, le Festival International des Jardins a invité des concepteurs internationaux à imaginer les projets les plus étonnants. Cette date anniversaire promet la surprise : de délires délicieux en délices délirants, le Festival explore la création paysagère, étonne par ses installations contemporaines et vous entraîne dans un univers de poésie et d’élégance à travers plus de 3 000 m2 de jardins. Jardins de lumière Les Jardins de Lumière invitent à une promenade nocturne poétique et inventive, à la découverte des parcelles du Festival International des Jardins, sublimées par la lueur délicate de diodes électroluminescentes : une mise en lumière à la fois esthétique, innovante et respectueuse de l’environnement, réalisée grâce au soutien de Philips et Citeos. Chaque vendredi, c’est au tour du Château de briller à la lumière de deux mille cinq cents bougies pour une nuit magique.   The 20th edition of the International Garden Festival will open on April 22th until at October 16, 2011.
  From 9.30 pm. to fallen of the night (closing ticketting to 7 pm.).
  Castle opening:
  from January 1st to December 31st (Closed on December 25th and January 1st)

  Unguided visits.
  Guided visits, Duration of a guided visit : 1h30min, Minimal number of persons for a guided visit : 30.
  Access adapted for disabled persons.

  Entrance ticket: 15,50 €
  Reduced fee for children between 12 and 18: 11€00
  Reduced fee for children between 6 and 11: 5€50

  This entrance ticket enables access to the whole of the Domain : Garden Festival, Castle, Stables and the Landscaped Park.
  Garden Festival Ticket (Garden Festival + Park) :
  Entrance ticket: 10€00
  Reduced fee for children between 12 and 18: 7€50
  Reduced fee for children between 6 and 11: 4€50
  Free for children Under 6
  This entrance ticket enables access to the Garden Festival and the Landscaped Park, but does not include access to the Castle and Stables.
  Castle Ticket :
  Entrance ticket: 9€50
  Reduced fee for children between 12 and 18: 6€00
  Reduced fee for children between 6 and 11: 3€50
  Free for children Under 6
  This entrance ticket enables access to the Castle, Stables and Landscaped Park. It does not give access to the Garden Festival.

  Chaumont-sur-Loire is located between Blois and Tours, 185 km from Paris. A10 and A85 Motorways, Blois or Amboise exit. Several direct trains run every day on the Paris Austerlitz - Orléans - Tours line, the nearest train station is Onzain.
