Description
The arboretum was known to be created during the castle's construction (1855 to 1859). Madame GOUPIL, the first owner, wanted to add a special garden around the castle. That is how a real tree collection was planted and trees were brought from all over the world. You still appreciate them all year long. This marvellous park is set on 18 acres of and holds 140 species of amazing trees as cedar Lebanese or sequoia giganteum.
