Harcourt Manor Castle-Arboretum : A bicentenary arboretum.
A real botanical collection, with more than 250 species, the oldest specimens being almost 200 years old, the arboretum is exceptional by its history. The great names of horticulture like Delamarre, Michaux, Pépin, Vilmorin... have marked its existence.
The arboretum was created in 1810. In 2004 it was awarded the mention ”Remarkable Garden”.
A fortress in a green shrine :
The arboretum surrounds a vast medieval fortress, of which parts of the outer wall and the moats as well as the main building's 12th century west façade still exist. The eastern façade shows the traces of late 17th century alterations. Surface : 12 ha
