Description
Located around a spring in a beautiful natural site, this important collection of monuments has been erected over centuries.
Today they offer their own particular ambiance to the « Jardin de la Fontaine ».
A space of 15 ha is divided in two gardens :
The French style garden created in 1745 by Jacques Philippe Mareschal, il located in the lower part and includes restored antique buildings (temple, nymphe).
The Italian style garden was creatid after 1815 encompassing hillsides where you find narrow paths winding through natural végétation (Buxus sempervirens, Cistus, Laurus nobilis, Cercis siliquestrum, Quercus ilex, Pinus halepensis).
Created in : XVIIIe siècle, Surface : 15 ha
