Cheverny Castle Gardens and Park

Facing a avenue 6 km long, Cheverny castle is sitting proudly surrounded by vast lawns. At the castle's left side is the English park, where Paul de Vibraye acclimated between 1820 and 1860 some rare trees; among them are a magnificent cedar alley, more than 500 m long. The little river, canalised in the 17th century, has partly been succeeded by a lovely romantic lake, partly it is still meandering through the park, giving a sensation of freshness to the castle's green shrine. You can discover it during a silent promenade by electric car and boat.

  From 9.15/9.45 AM with 5.00/6.45 PM, depend of season, without interruption.

  Unguided visits.
  Guided visits with previous booking, Duration of a guided visit : 45 mn, Minimal number of persons for a guided visit : 20.
  Access partially adapted for disabled persons.

  Adult: 7,70 euros. Child (7 to 14 years) : 5,00 euros.

  Adult: 12,40 euros. Child (7 to 14 years old): 8,20 euros.
