Rose Garden and Park Of the Castle Of Rambures

Green shrine of this rare undamaged witness of 15th century military architecture (listed monument) and of 18th century outbuildings.
Romantic park with centenary trees from Europe, America, Asia ­ perspective alleys, wood paths, orchard keeping cider apple trees.
By spring 2003 a rose garden has been added to the park of the castle of Rambures.
Located close to "Henry IV cottage", replacing the old's vegetables's corner, this rose garden has been inspired by Middle Age practice.
This garden is divided in two parts :
- Rose garden itself, with geometric figures creating a labyrinth of smells and colors.
- Commun garden, a cheessboard where visitors will discover rose trees as well as medicinal plants and fruit trees.
